说到enigma，话就特别多。
Enigma最著名的曲子有两首：return to innocence和sadeness。
return to innocence是96年亚特兰大奥运会的主题曲，源自于中国台湾阿美族民歌《老人饮酒歌》，这支曲子的出名同时将阿美族老人郭英男带向世界舞台，使阿美族吟唱文化成为world music的重要组成部分。Sadeness（注意：不要错拼成sadness）则在1990年问世以来成为T型台上最常见的背景音乐，至今仍可在模特走秀时听到。
Enigma至今已发布专辑6张（不含单曲、精选），我个人的看法供楼主参考：
E1《MCMXC a.D.（公元1990年）》必听。这是一张在音乐史上具有里程碑意义的专辑，堪比《征服天堂》，这种全新的曲风影响了新世纪音乐界众多的作者。
E2――E4，延续了神秘主义风格和丰富的想象力，并非都是精品，但每首都具备很高的可听性，smell of desire必听。
E5，从E5开始，ENIGMA的风格有了改变，具备了更多的电子元素，这引起极大的争议，总体上讲，对E5的评价不如前4张高。
E6（A Posteriori），A Posteriori中文译为后验/推纳，于2006年9月22日于德国首发（实际上国内网站在9月16日已可下载MP3）。听了一个来月，整体感觉还是不错的，其中不乏震撼性的曲子，推荐曲目：
