<TD colSpan=2>THE CAVE OF THE YELLOW DOG is Byambasuren Davaa's HFF (Munich film school) graduating film and her first feature-length dramatic film. Davaa (along with co-director Luigi Falorni) was nominated for a best documentary Oscar for THE STORY OF THE WEEPING CAMEL. THE CAVE OF THE YELLOW DOG, like its predecessor, was shot in her native Mongolia. It is the story of the bond between a little girl and a dog and presents an unobtrusive but gripping portrayal of the life of a nomadic family in Mongolia. </TD></TR></TABLE></TD></TR></TABLE></P><a href="http://www.filmfest-muenchen.de/dc/ffm_EN/news/detail.asp?datum=17.05.2005" target="_blank" >http://www.filmfest-muenchen.de/dc/ffm_EN/news/detail.asp?datum=17.05.2005</A> |
